Feinberg Students Launch Inaugural Day of Service Across Chicago - News Center
Students from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine’s MD, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, and Prosthetics and Orthotics programs gathered for the inaugural Feinberg Day of Service on May 3. The student-led initiative was organized by class presidents with student senate representatives and focused on volunteerism, community partnership, and cross-program connection. The event used the theme “Roots and Renewal” and paired volunteers with local organizations including the Chicago Parks Foundation, the Chicago Community Gardeners Association, and Chicago Youth Programs. More than 80 students participated in coordinated projects supporting community spaces and neighborhood initiatives across Chicago. Students emphasized meaningful relationships across class years and programs while giving back to the community.
