Three primary reasons drive the initiative: a larger, more diverse student body demanding quality educational experiences; rapid technological change requiring pedagogical adaptation; and the need for a specialized education workforce. Strategy 2032 commits to delivering transformational education through education-focused academics with deep disciplinary knowledge who can develop transformative learning and act as leaders and change-makers. The Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026 commits 330 new roles, including 220 education-focused positions.
