Palo Alto Councilwoman Julie Lythcott-Haims announced on May 11 that she will not seek re-election. She said she loves the job but must spend substantial time preparing for council meetings, leaving little time to do work that pays her bills. She will complete her current term and said she will not be a lame duck, planning to finish strong.
