"The structure will stand 292 feet high, contain 313,000 square feet of space and will occupy an 8.72-acre site north of Vineyard Avenue at the west end of the city. The developer is Martin V. Smith and Associates of Oxnard; the building was designed by Ebbe Videriksen Architect and Associates of Sherman Oaks and is expected to be completed by next January."
"It is estimated that the project will generate $24 million annually in salaries, $355,000 in property taxes and $300,000 in state sales tax. To be constructed on the same site, beginning in April, are a restaurant and a multilevel garage."
Construction has commenced on a major office development in Oxnard's Financial Plaza district. The 21-story building will reach 292 feet in height, making it the tallest structure in Ventura County.
