H Mart will open a 100,000-square-foot, multilevel store at Pacific Commons in Fremont, the largest H Mart in the United States. Construction is planned to begin late this year, and no opening date has been provided. The store marks the company’s largest investment and will include a first-of-its-kind food hall with fast-casual eateries, full-service restaurants, a bar and entertainment options. H Mart operates more than 100 stores across 18 states and stocks Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Southeast Asian products. The company previously opened its first San Francisco store in 2021 and purchased that shopping center in 2024. Pacific Commons has also added Miniso and will soon include Slice House.
