Suisun City has received an annexation application from developer California Forever and staff have deemed the materials complete, making them eligible for the city's review process. The city will perform environmental, technical and financial analyses, negotiate development terms, and refine a Suisun Expansion Specific Plan to align with community needs. A scoping meeting to begin the Environmental Impact Report will occur within the next month and a half. The city will review EIR chapters as completed and ultimately release a draft EIR for public comment while continuing dialogue with the developer on jobs, housing, transportation and open space.
