Beverage maker moves headquarters to downtown Oakland
"OAKLAND Beverage company Yerba Madre has leased part of a historic building in downtown Oakland in a deal that provides a lift to a struggling East Bay office market. With the deal, the company will move its headquarters from Sebastopol in Sonoma County to 1910 Broadway in the Uptown district. The lease was arranged by commercial real estate firms CBRE and Cushman and Wakefield."
"Yerba Madre leased 16,700 square feet in the Tapscott Building, a century-old building that was constructed in 1920. CBRE broker Daniel Bisabri represented Yerba Madre in its relocation, and Cushman & Wakefield brokers Grant Jones and Elizabeth Bott represented the building's owner. The Tapscott Building's creative environment and prime Uptown location made it the clear choice for Yerba Madre's headquarters relocation, Jones said. The building underwent a wide-ranging renovation in 2021."
