Mixé opened in the former Calavera space toward the end of 2024 at 2337 Broadway. Souk Savanh 2.0, a Thai Lao restaurant in Uptown Oakland, also appears to be closing after a short period of operation. Operators indicated landlord disputes as part of the reason for the closure in an Instagram post. Souk Savanh 2.0 was located at 1707 Telegraph Ave., Oakland.
