Michael Tatum, a 35-year-old resident of Oakland, was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison for being a felon in possession of firearms and ammunition. Law enforcement discovered five loaded guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition during a February 2022 search of his home. Additionally, they seized a substantial amount of cash amounting to $148,530. Tatum will also serve three years of supervised release and is expected to start his sentence on July 22, 2025.
