Here are the 19 new Bay Wheels locations in Oakland's flatlands
Briefly

This summer, Bay Wheels will expand its bike-sharing service in Oakland, adding 19 new docking stations, including key intersections like Brookdale and Fruitvale Avenues. Funded by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, this $20 million project also extends into neighboring East Bay cities like Berkeley and Emeryville. The Oakland Department of Transportation is actively engaging residents through surveys to determine the exact placement of the new docks. Although many potential locations were considered, final choices were made based on public feedback and geographical equity priorities.

The expansion will also add stations to other East Bay cities, including Berkeley and Emeryville.
Staff will continue to pursue opportunities to expand the program further east through grant funding,
