Prime members can add items from across Amazon to upcoming deliveries using the Add to Delivery feature, which launched in October and has been used over 50 million times. Same-Day Delivery expanded in August to include perishable grocery items such as fresh produce, dairy, meat, seafood, and frozen food. A specialized temperature-controlled fulfillment network was cited to preserve perishables during rapid delivery. The company highlighted benefits extending to prescriptions and medicine.
