Trader Joe's Halloween mini-totes: colors, price and everything else we know
"Trader Joe's plans to roll out its latest mini canvas totes, the Halloween edition, on Oct. 8. The photo on the retailer's website shows four colors: solid versions in black, orange and purple, and a multicolored that's black with purple bottom, lime green handles and an orange Trader Joe's logo. As with the previous releases, they're priced at $2.99 each."
"A scaled-down version of TJ's shopper-size canvas tote, the minis are 13 by 11 by 6 inches, or about big enough to hold a shoebox. This is the fourth public issue of the mini-tote. The first round, in March 2024, was natural canvas with bottom and handles in red, yellow, green or navy; six months later, the same colors were reissued."
"April 2025 saw spring pastels: natural canvas with pink, blue, lavender or green bottom and handles. The rarest mini-tote was that given late last year to Trader Joe's employees: natural with orange bottom and handles, and a "CREW" stamp as well as the store logo. The previous releases were snapped up quickly, with some stores imposing limits on how many a shopper could buy. On Oct. 7, resellers on eBay were already promising a set of four TJ's Halloween bags for about $50."
Trader Joe's will release Halloween mini canvas totes on Oct. 8 in four colorways: black, orange, purple and a multicolored black with purple bottom, lime green handles and an orange logo. Each mini measures 13 by 11 by 6 inches and costs $2.99. The minis are scaled-down versions of the shopper-size canvas tote and fit roughly a shoebox. This is the fourth public mini-tote release, following a March 2024 natural canvas issue, a six-month reissue of the same colors, and April 2025 spring pastels. A rare employee-only version featured natural canvas with orange bottom, orange handles and a "CREW" stamp. Previous releases sold quickly, with some stores capping purchases and resellers listing sets online at higher prices.
