Google Merchant Center Video Verification After Suspension
"Merchants may now be asked to record a short, continuous video of their business, storefront, storage areas, even packaging of top products."
"The video needs to capture: Your storefront including any signage (ex. store name, logo) and street address. Areas only staff have access to such as a storage room, office, or point of sale. Capture everything in one continuous 3 to 5 minute video. Your video must not be edited, clipped or modified."
Google is testing video verification in Google Merchant Center as a method to lift merchant account suspensions. Merchants may be asked to record one continuous 3–5 minute unedited video that shows their storefront with signage and street address, areas restricted to staff such as storage rooms, offices, or points of sale, and packaging or top products. The video must be captured in a single continuous recording without editing, clipping, or modification. A form is provided for merchants to submit the video verification. The process mirrors existing video verification used for Google Business Profiles.
