Google is experimenting with showing free product listings from Merchant Center inside AI Overview responses. Two visual variants have been observed: one overlays a favicon and price on listings, and another presents free listings in a map-pack-like format. Brodie Clark reported the changes on X and SERP Alerts and shared screenshots of both variants. The reporter could not replicate the screenshots. The experiment appears to be visible to some users and may change how product results are surfaced within AI-generated search summaries.
