PostgreSQL leads the field in back-end database usage. Of respondents 76% reported using PostgreSQL, followed by SQLite at 42%, MySQL at 27%, and MariaDB at 9%. These percentages have remained consistent over the past four years."

PostgreSQL is used by 76% of respondents, followed by SQLite at 42%, MySQL at 27%, and MariaDB at 9%, with these shares stable over four years. Seventy-seven percent of Django developers have three or more years of professional experience and 82% use Django professionally. Django REST Framework is used by 49% of respondents.
