Quinones focuses on mentoring future generations of judges and lawyers through her initiative, "Camp Quinones," which inspires her and instills hope for the nation's future. Ortiz, another honoree, specializes in high-risk legal practices and has experience representing various corporations and individuals against allegations related to tax and fraud issues.
"I feel incredibly fortunate to be doing work I love," Quinones noted. "It allows me to introduce people from all walks of life to our justice system, to help shape and support rising legal talent, and to mentor future generations of judges, lawyers and leaders."
Quinones called attention to her "Camp Quinones," the nickname for the group of interns and mentees that she has worked with throughout her judicial career.
