"If you've never enjoyed a meal on your lonesome, now is the perfect time to try it, as the British Museum has just announced that it will be offering punters the chance to dine in its calming Japan Room as part of a new collaboration with Itsu. Diners will be treated to a curated range of 'warming noodles and Japanese beers', including katsu korokke curry and chashu pork ramen."
"The scheme is being held in celebration of Itsu's brand new 'noodles & broth' range, developed with Masterchef judge Monica Galetti. The line includes brand new noodle-pot flavours, which you can sample at the British Museum, and improvements to old favourites like katsu curry. As you eat you'll be surrounded by historic Japanese artefacts as well as modern artworks and pottery."
The British Museum and Itsu are offering solo dining experiences in the Japan Room with tables for one. Diners receive a curated menu of warming noodles and Japanese beers, including katsu korokke curry and chashu pork ramen, and have 20 minutes to eat. The event celebrates Itsu's new 'noodles & broth' range developed with MasterChef judge Monica Galetti, with new noodle-pot flavours and improved classics. Diners will be surrounded by historic Japanese artefacts and modern artworks that present Japan from prehistory to the present. The experience runs two evenings - Sept 29 and Oct 9, 6.30-9pm, with free advance booking.
