Microsoft Outlook is currently facing an outage affecting many users in Britain, with 61% having login issues and 34% facing server connection problems. Issues began early in the morning, reaching a peak around 06:00. Microsoft 365 acknowledged the problem on social media, confirming they identified the cause and are implementing a fix. Despite this, users are still experiencing access difficulties, as indicated by the Service Status checker stating that users may be unable to access their mailbox through any connection method.
According to Down Detector, issues began in the early hours of the morning and reached a peak shortly after 06:00. Of those affected, 61 percent of people report experiencing issues logging in, 34 percent are experiencing server connection issues, and five percent are left unable to send emails.
We're currently investigating an issue. We've determined the cause of the issue and have deployed a fix. We're closely monitoring its deployment and expect the issue to gradually resolve as deployment progresses.
Microsoft's Service Status checker shows that Outlook.com is still experiencing issues. The Service Status checker confirms: 'Users may be unable to access their mailbox using any connection methods.'
