Brightspeed has connected over 10,700 homes and businesses in North Wilkesboro, Eden, and Mebane to its high-speed fiber network. Nearly 60% of North Carolinians currently lack access to fiber internet plans. Once Brightspeed's network is fully established, 75% of the population in Wilkes, Rockingham, and Alamance Counties will have access to multi-gig-speed internet service. The fiber network aims to significantly improve connectivity for families, remote workers, students, and small businesses, empowering them in today’s economy and enhancing their experience of working, learning, and interacting.
More than 10,700 homes and businesses in North Wilkesboro, Eden and Mebane now have access to the country's fastest internet service.
Nearly 75% of the total population of these communities will have access to multi-gig-speed internet service when Brightspeed's full fiber network buildout is complete.
