Azure DevOps Server Patch 2 resolves an issue introduced in the original release that could deactivate group memberships under certain conditions. The patch applies to customers who installed Azure DevOps Server before the March 13, 2026 re-published release. Customers who previously applied the mitigation script can complete remediation by installing Patch 2, while those who haven't run the mitigation script need only install the patch. New installations or upgrades using the re-published release from March 13, 2026 onward do not require this patch. Installation can be verified using the CheckInstall command with the patch installer executable.
