Wienerberger runs the biennial award to celebrate innovation and craftsmanship in brick and ceramic design. Winners will be announced in Vienna in June 2026. The award spans five categories, including Feeling at home and Building outside the box. The UCCA Clay Museum in Yixing, China, features an inverted-shell roof clad in 3,600 handmade glazed ceramic tiles that merge landscape, material and craft. The Melbourne Holocaust Museum uses an estimated 25,000 clay and glass bricks in a refined "hit and miss" façade that balances transparency and security.
