Mattel and German architectural fittings specialist HEWI launched the Barbie x HEWI collection in 2025, reimagining HEWI's 477/801 series through Barbie's aesthetic. The range applies universal design principles to around 40 products including grab rails, shower seats, LED mirrors, towel holders, soap dispensers, and towel rings. Products prioritize accessibility and usability across ages and mobility levels. Intended settings include boutique hotels, maternity wards, children's bathrooms, and private residences.
