Project team includes lead Alireza Moloudi, design team members Ladan Akbari and Somayeh Safari, and engineering consultants Amir Taheri (civil), Mostafa Aflatuoni (structural), and Farshad Shakibi (electrical). Initial project challenges require determination of the design site boundary and management of limited dedicated terminal space. The terminal must accommodate eight taxi lines and urgently needs roofing. Existing terminal management is disorganized, and the surrounding urban landscape lacks visual appeal and appears monotonous. The design must restore or preserve views toward the Alborz Mountains, which serve as the main element of the natural landscape. Solutions should address functional, aesthetic, and environmental concerns while improving passenger flow and urban integration.
