Reimei Kobashi footbridge connects Kachidoki Station and Harumi 3-chome in Tokyo's waterfront district and opened to the public on March 25, 2024. The bridge crosses the Asashio Canal and provides a pedestrian link to Grand Marina Tokyo. The design features a soft arching profile intended to evoke gentle waves rolling over the water's surface. Kachidoki East District Urban Redevelopment Association served as client, with Mitsui Fudosan Residential involved in the project. Hoshino Architects provided the design and a text description of the project. The bridge enhances waterfront accessibility and contributes a sculptural element to the marina-side urban landscape.
