Prosolia Headquarters / Destudio
"The Prosolia offices present the challenge of creating a 1,000 m2 workspace for 70 employees in a location with low ceilings and a large number of closely spaced pillars."
"One of the facades of this "forest of pillars," however, offers a wide view of the Turia gardens in Valencia."
The Prosolia offices occupy 1,000 m² and accommodate 70 employees within a space constrained by low ceilings and numerous closely spaced pillars. The layout challenge required addressing a dense grid of structural columns that interrupt open-plan organization and visual continuity. One facade faces the Turia gardens in Valencia, providing a wide external view that becomes a primary spatial and visual asset. Design strategies focus on maximizing daylight and sightlines toward the gardens while negotiating pillar spacing and ceiling height. Functional zoning, circulation pathways, and furniture arrangement respond to structural limitations to create efficient and comfortable work areas.
