Plaj House occupies a small coastal plot near a village about one hour north of Lisbon in Lourinhã. The location is close to Ericeira and Peniche, internationally renowned surfing destinations. Design credits list Clemens Poloczek alongside a 19-person design team including Sonia Oliveira, Rita Rodrigues and Filipa Almeida. Landscape architecture was handled by Oficina dos Jardins. Structural engineering was provided by Pedro Viegas and general construction by Vassalo & Sousa Lda. Additional consulting and engineering services were provided by Motoliveira and Blueorizon across acoustic, electrical and mechanical disciplines.
