The building occupies the Houlong River valley and provides expansive views across the river toward a historic mining pit. A cherry blossom scenic trail connects the center to nearby mountains and structures outdoor circulation and viewing sequences. The design seeks to bridge natural landscapes and cultural settings by referencing Hakka settlement patterns and mining history while accommodating visitor functions.
