Lei Wa Lakom Library is the second realized project within the Parallel Gives program. The project was led by architect Mai Al Busairi of PARALLEL STUDIO in Kuwait. The library covers an area of 100 m and was completed in 2025. The technical team included Alyaa Al Roomi. The design prioritizes modest, socially driven architecture with climate-responsive and context-aware strategies. Material selection and spatial organization respond to local climate conditions and community needs. The project aims to deliver enduring cultural and educational impact and strengthen local cultural infrastructure through a small-scale, context-sensitive intervention.
