Point Cloud transforms Taikoo Li Sanlitun into a kinetic color field using a floating constellation of translucent discs. Each disc rotates independently in response to wind, light, and movement, producing rippling electric blue, violet, pink, and red tones. The installation shifts between density and transparency, forming ever-changing arrangements in the air above the plaza. From a distance, it appears as a vibrant floating mass, while closer views reveal reflections, transparencies, and delicate choreography. Sunlight passing through the discs projects vibrant chromatic shadows onto the ground, extending the work beyond its physical presence. Reflections, colors, and motion evolve throughout the day, making the installation a living atmospheric composition shaped by air, light, and time.
