"When we first visited the site, what struck us the most was that after emerging from a narrow alley, an extraordinary view opened up toward one of the slopes of the Tepozteco mountain range. These rock formations are emblematic of the region, and the land ends precisely at the base of this dramatic topography. From the very beginning, one of our main concerns was to ensure that every room-whether for gathering or resting-could enjoy this privileged view."

The site reveals an extraordinary view of the Tepozteco mountain slopes immediately after emerging from a narrow alley. The region’s characteristic rock formations rise directly from the land, with the property ending at the base of dramatic topography. The topography and visual axis define the design priorities. Spatial planning focuses on orienting all interior spaces toward the slope so that both communal and private rooms enjoy the landscape. Visual connection is treated as a central organizing element, guiding room placement, circulation, and openings. The result prioritizes uninterrupted sightlines and a constant relationship between occupants and the mountain panorama.
