FNN Sustainability Center / ACARARCH
"Text description provided by the architects. FNN Sustainability Center was designed within Tekfen Construction's Machine Maintenance Facilities in Ceyhan for archive, museum, and administrative office use. In the project area, which also includes a steel manufacturing workshop, the main purpose was to highlight the steel, which forms the structural system of the building, as a design element. The archive is a completely self-enclosed program, the museum is a completely extroverted program, and the office acts as an organism that is partly closed and partly open."

FNN Sustainability Center occupies Tekfen Construction's Machine Maintenance Facilities in Ceyhan and houses an archive, a museum, and administrative offices. The design responds to an adjacent steel manufacturing workshop by emphasizing exposed steel as both structural system and architectural element. Programmatic strategies vary: the archive is fully self-enclosed for protection, the museum is openly extroverted to engage visitors, and the offices combine enclosed and open qualities for flexible work. The design resolves these differing characters by composing them into a single volumetric mass, coordinating circulation, enclosure, and structural expression within the industrial site.
