The lab Senior Editor anchors day-to-day studio operations and executes client projects within a consultancy model. The role collaborates with the Director & Strategy Lead, Business Development, Partner Success, and Editorial teams. The Senior Editor must embody three core values: Intentionally Curious, Disrupt Playfully, and Fearlessly Meaningful, asking strategic questions, finding creative logistical solutions, and guarding content quality. Responsibilities include ensuring client needs are addressed, maintaining high editorial standards, managing tight timelines without compromising quality, and supporting training and strategy led by the Director. The Senior Editor champions designboom's mission of Utopian Optimism, translating design, architecture, art, and technology into meaningful client outputs.
