Boi Bong House / TRAN TRUNG Architects
"As an experimental research model exploring the healing potential of a single-family dwelling within an urban context, Boi Bong House was conceived to accommodate the living needs of a young three-generation family while integrating a workspace for a small architectural design practice."
"The project is envisioned as a multifunctional dwelling, where living and working coexist, interact, and mutually nourish one another. Here, nature is no longer a static backdrop but becomes a vibrant and integral part of everyday lifepresent in every moment, every breath of the house."
Boi Bong House is an 80 m dwelling completed in 2025 that combines residential and professional functions for a young three-generation family and a small architectural practice. The design operates as an experimental model to explore healing potential within an urban single-family home. Living areas and workspaces are integrated so daily routines support mutual nourishment between domestic life and professional activity. Natural elements are incorporated throughout the house to make nature an active presence in everyday life, enhancing well-being. The project used materials from Enic, Vietceramics, and Vicostone. Lead architect: Tran Trung; photographs by Khanh Nguyen.
