The Unscripted Pavilion by Abin Design Studio is a temporary structure responding to Mumbai's dense, layered urban character. The design begins with a geometric grid that rotates 48 degrees, disrupting orthogonal order to reflect how movement in Mumbai rarely follows straight paths. This fractured grid creates tilted, intersecting surfaces forming dynamic rather than static enclosures. Strategic voids within the structure function as deliberate openings introducing light, ventilation, and pause. These cavities allow the surrounding environment to filter through the pavilion, connecting interior movement with the urban landscape and reflecting the city's adaptive, improvisational nature.
