The Illustration Awards selected five winners in each category and named Sebi White the Advertising & Promotional winner. Sebi White grew up in Ireland and Switzerland with a Swiss artist mother and an Irish musician father. His clients include Oasis, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Slipknot, and Olivia Rodrigo. For David Byrne's album campaign, he created a poster replacing Boston's George Washington statue with a bizarre humanoid cluster of zip-ties. A high-school teacher's enthusiasm convinced him that a creative career was possible. At 23 he moved to Europe with a band, lived seven years in Berlin, and helped launch his design career.
