The NFL regular season is nearing its end as teams pursue playoff berths or begin draft preparations. The Dallas Cowboys missed the postseason and travel to New York with a chance to finish 8-8-1. The Pro Football Hall of Fame Committee announced 15 finalists for induction. Hall of Fame ceremonies begin in early August and are headlined by the first preseason game on August 6, 2026. Two former Cowboys, safety Darren Woodson and tight end Jason Witten, are among the finalists. The finalist list includes notable players such as Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Frank Gore, Eli Manning, Adam Vinatieri, and Terrell Suggs.
