Kayden McDonald, a defensive lineman from Ohio State, was selected by the Houston Texans after they traded up in the NFL Draft. The Texans sent picks No. 38 and 91 to Las Vegas in exchange for No. 36 and 117. McDonald was present in the green room during the first round but did not get selected until the second round. He was recognized as a First-team AP All-American and was a finalist for the Outland Trophy in 2025.
