"Any and everything about George Pickens has crossed our minds,"
"Certainly he's a topic of interest and discussions because of the success he's having."
"grow up in a hurry"
"a fresh start for both sides was the right thing."
George Pickens was acquired from the Steelers last spring and has produced a fast start in his first season with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys have not held contract-extension talks with Pickens or his representatives despite owner Jerry Jones indicating interest. Pickens averaged roughly 59 catches, 947 yards and four touchdowns per season over three years in Pittsburgh, with intermittent disciplinary incidents. The Cowboys report no known behind-the-scenes issues. Through eight games with Dallas he has 43 catches for 685 yards and six touchdowns and projects to surpass his career highs if the pace continues.
