"Diggs struggled to stay on the field after signing his five-year, $97 million deal with the Cowboys in 2023. He played in only 21 games over the last three seasons, and that was in large part due to multiple serious knee issues. The first was a torn ACL in 2023 that he suffered after just two games that season. A year later, Diggs was shutdown for the last four games and needed to have a chondral tissue graft in the same knee."
"In 2025, Diggs played in eight games with six starts. However, a concussion that he suffered at home mixed with his disapproval of the scheme used by defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, as well as a recent disagreement with head coach Brian Schottenheimer over travel plans during Christmas, was the final straw. Diggs will now reunite with All-Pro edge rusher and best friend Micah Parsons in Green Bay."
Trevon Diggs was released by the Dallas Cowboys and claimed by the Green Bay Packers. He appeared in just 21 games over three seasons after signing a five-year, $97 million deal in 2023 because of multiple serious knee problems. He tore his ACL in 2023 after two games and later required a chondral tissue graft that shut him down for four games. In 2025 he played eight games with six starts, but a home concussion, disagreement over the defensive scheme and a dispute with the coach over Christmas travel contributed to his release. He hired agent David Mulugheta and will reunite with Micah Parsons.
