Dallas Cowboys NFL draft order 2026: Packers' pick from Micah Parsons trade finalized
"In all seriousness, we have been closely monitoring the Packers this season as the Dallas Cowboys hold their first-round pick this year as a result of the Micah Parsons trade. A reminder that Dallas also owns Green Bay's first-rounder in 2027, but the Cowboys sent the better of their first-round picks in 2027 (as in whichever pick is earlier) to the New York Jets in the Quinnen Williams deal. Lots of moving parts here."
"The Packers' pick that Dallas owns is officially number 20 overall As noted there are a lot of moving parts this time of year and the overall NFL draft order is also impacted by everyone else playing this weekend. The Carolina Panthers lost earlier in the day on Saturday so that coupled with Green Bay's loss is why the Cowboys are picking at number 20. It would have been number 19 if the Panthers had won, but obviously that did not happen."
Green Bay lost its Wild Card matchup against Chicago, officially ending the Packers' season. Dallas holds Green Bay's first-round pick this year as part of the Micah Parsons trade. Dallas also owns Green Bay's 2027 first-rounder, but sent the better of its 2027 first-round picks to the New York Jets in the Quinnen Williams trade. The Packers' pick that Dallas now owns is officially No. 20 overall. Carolina's weekend loss combined with Green Bay's loss determined that placement; the pick would have been No. 19 had Carolina won. The Cowboys' own first-round pick is No. 12.
