BTB Monday Discussion: Did the weekend make last week's loss feel better?
"The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Detroit Lions four days ago and for perspective since then a lifetime has happened for some college football fanbases with the College Football Playoff being revealed (sorry Notre Dame fans). Maybe you enjoyed the weekend off from the Cowboys by watching the conference championship games and Sunday NFL action. Perhaps you did some Christmas shopping. Whatever you did, time passed and that may have cooled things for you relative to Dallas' lost last week."
"Do you feel less upset now that you have had a few sleeps to let the heat dissipate? Or are you just as angry, maybe more angry, now than you were then? The Cowboys didn't exactly pick up a ton of help relative to the NFC Wild Card picture on Sunday and that sort of adds to this discussion; however, more probable (not exactly probable though) way Dallas is going to get into the playoffs is as the NFC East winner"
It has been a few days since the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Detroit Lions. The College Football Playoff was revealed, creating major developments for some fanbases. Many people spent the weekend watching conference championship games, NFL action, or Christmas shopping. Time passing may have cooled reactions to the Cowboys' loss. The question is whether fans feel less upset now after a few sleeps or are equally or more angry. The Cowboys did not gain much help for the NFC Wild Card picture on Sunday. The most likely path to the playoffs remains winning the NFC East as the Eagles play tonight.
