'Vought Rising' Trailer Reveals First Look At The Future Of 'The Boys'

Vought Rising is a prequel set in 1950 that follows the first generation of Supes as they establish dominance in American culture. The series centers on Soldier Boy and the V1 generation of heroes, including Bombsight, a former WWII pilot who becomes a Supe. Bombsight’s earlier appearance connects to Vought Rising by showing how V1’s ability to stop aging forever creates serious consequences. The teaser also features Clara Risinger, known by multiple identities including Clara Vought, Liberty, and Stormfront, portrayed by Aya Cash. In the teaser, she speaks with a German accent and tells Soldier Boy that a brighter future can be taken. The midcentury setting and stylized presentation evoke other Prime Video period-based superhero storytelling.
