Cybersecurity experts from Cyble have identified 20 fraudulent apps on the Google Play Store that imitate legitimate digital wallet applications, endangering millions of cryptocurrency users. These apps often use similar names and logos to deceive users into downloading them, enabling hackers to gain access to their funds. Users are advised to verify the developer name and look for indicators of authenticity, like download numbers and reviews, to avoid being scammed. If an app has low downloads or suspicious developer packages, it could be a malicious copy.
