"Available in four models with different fineness ranges and output capacities, the GT roll grinders can achieve throughputs of up to 1,800 kilograms per hour in the filter range and use either two or three pairs of grinding rolls with Probat's proprietary corrugation. More compact and energy-efficient than some earlier Probat industrial grinding solutions, the new mills are designed for precision and consistency in standard applications, while also aiming to bring Probat roll grinding to smaller operations, according to the company."
""The [GT Series] is designed for standard industrial applications, meeting customer demands but not exceeding them," said Jansen. "The UW Series has individually driven rolls that give operators additional variables to play with to achieve the desired particle distribution. Most customers do not need this, and by combining all the drives into one belt drivetrain, we simplify maintenance and reduce energy consumption.""
Probat introduced the GT Series, a new line of commercial roller mill grinders available in four models with different fineness ranges and output capacities. The GT grinders can reach throughputs up to 1,800 kilograms per hour in the filter range and use two or three pairs of grinding rolls with Probat's proprietary corrugation. The mills are more compact and energy-efficient than earlier industrial grinders and target precision and consistency for standard applications, including smaller operations. Maintenance is simplified by a single belt driving all rolls, and a new dosing mechanism eliminates slide gates while regulating coffee flow. GT600 models replace the UW500 series; UW300 remains available for uncovered fineness ranges.
