Roast magazine selected six finalists for the 22nd Annual Roaster of the Year awards, splitting entries into Micro (under 100,000 pounds roasted annually) and Macro (over 100,000 pounds) categories. Winners will be announced on Monday, Oct. 20, and featured in the November/December 2025 issue. The awards evaluate coffee quality, sustainability, employee and community education, industry involvement, and commitments to diversity, inclusion, and equity. Micro Roaster finalists include Three Keys Coffee, a 2019 Houston family-owned roastery and cafe operating the city’s first solar-powered roastery, and Dessert Oasis Coffee Roasters, a multi-location roaster and cafe group founded in 2009.
