"We at Hibiscus Brew always aim to create joy through food,"
"Just like spending time in Prospect Park, food has the power to uplift your mood, body, and soul. We are honored to partner with Prospect Park Alliance to help Brooklynites prioritize joy in their lives through nourishing food and drink options."
Hibiscus Brew launched a mobile cart called The Bloom at the Bartel Pritchard Entrance in Prospect Park, offering refreshing drinks, smoothies, coffees, teas, pastries, and grab-and-go snacks. The cart features an island-inspired menu rooted in Jamaican flavors and handcrafted in Brooklyn, suitable for post-run smoothies, sorrel drinks, or tropical juices while strolling in the park. The Bloom operates during select hours through September and will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Oct. 1. Prospect Park Alliance highlighted the cart as a healthy, affordable, Black-owned, female-founded sustainable option. Additional park food offerings include an outpost of Winner that will serve alcohol.
