Mundo Novo Expands the World of Automatic Pourovers with the CS2
"It duplicates the success and the durability that we've seen in the CS1 in two completely different and independent group heads. If anything happens on one side, the other side will still be functional at any time. The only thing in common is a touch screen display where you can customize the profile and load it to either side of the machine."
"Unlike the more portable CS1, whose built-in pump can draw water from a jug, the heavier CS2 is designed to stay put and receive water from a plumbed source or an external Flojet-style pump."
Mundo Novo introduced the CS2 automated pourover machine at the World of Coffee trade show in San Diego. The CS2 is a two-group version of the company's original CS1 single-group machine launched in 2024. It maintains the same boilerless heating technology and single-stream spout functionality while offering a compact design for running two distinct brews simultaneously. The machine features modular construction with dedicated heaters and motors for each group, allowing independent temperature and pour profiles. Each group operates independently, enabling one side to remain functional during maintenance on the other. Unlike the portable CS1 with a built-in pump, the CS2 requires plumbing or an external pump connection. The machine competes in the specialized automated pourover segment alongside brands like Poursteady and iRhea.
