MPE Rolls Deeper Into Smaller Roasteries with the SRM.MAX Grinder
Briefly

Modern Process Equipment (MPE) has introduced the SRM.MAX, a roller-style grinder designed for medium and smaller roasters, following the SRM-4555. The SRM.MAX can grind 200-400 pounds per hour and accommodates various coffee applications, including espresso and cold brew. It features two pairs of corrugated rolls for grinding consistency. MPE aims to make roller-style grinders more accessible to a wider range of coffee producers, addressing customer needs for versatility in grind sizes.
Prices for the SRM.MAX, which stands 94 inches tall by 38 inches wide, start at $60,000. The machine is suitable for numerous applications, such as capsules, pods and cold brew production, in addition to filter and espresso.
Inside the SRM.MAX are two pairs of precisely corrugated granulizer rolls made of centrifugally cast and chilled iron, allowing for fine espresso grinding and broader applications.
