"The 75-millimeter flat burr Mazzer Ready addresses fast-paced, high-volume commercial settings with a dual-chambered dosing unit. While one chamber dispenses a dose, the machine pre-grinds and holds the next shot in the alternate chamber. Each chamber has a capacity of approximately 22 grams of espresso-fine ground coffee. The grinder can fill chambers with two identical doses or be programmed to grind different sizes into each. An optional magnet-based portafilter ID system can trigger the release of a particular dose into a designated portafilter."
"New grind-by-weight models include the first GBW version of the iconic Super Jolly, called the Super Jolly g, plus an upgraded Kony g that will replace the older Kony Sg. Grinders can be outfitted prior to shipping with the company's new ZZ burrs, designed for lighter roasts. The company said prices are not yet determined for the grinders, which will begin shipping to the U.S. next year."
Mazzer introduced the Mazzer Ready, a 75-mm flat-burr grinder designed for high-volume commercial use with a dual-chamber dosing unit that pre-grinds one dose while dispensing another. Each chamber holds about 22 grams of espresso-fine grounds and can be filled with identical or different doses; an optional magnet-based portafilter ID system can trigger specific releases. The Ready includes a pre-breaker to steady coffee flow, a redesigned low-retention grind chamber, and burrs spinning at 1,400–1,600 rpm driven by a 500-watt induction motor. Mazzer also released Super Jolly g and Kony g grind-by-weight models with asynchronous motors, higher-throughput burrs and Vibration Filtering Algorithm. New ZZ burrs target lighter roasts. U.S. shipments begin next year and prices are not yet determined.
