"The dripper, which officially launched at last weekend's World of Coffee Dubai trade show, is sold under the Precise brand and was developed by UAE champion barista Mariam Erin. Designed around what Brewing Gadgets calls "wet blending," the Binocular Dripper uses two tall, narrow brew cones, each at a 30-degree angle. Each side can be brewed independently with different coffees, doses and pour patterns, with the combined brew collected in the included server."
""Blending during brewing is not just about convenience," said Erin. "It allows thermal, chemical and sensory interactions to happen at the moment they matter most, producing a more unified and expressive cup than post-brew blending.""
Binocular Dripper is a new dual-cone manual pourover launching for sale through Dubai-based retailer Brewing Gadgets under the Precise brand. The brewer uses two tall, narrow cones set at 30-degree angles that can be brewed independently with different coffees, doses and pour patterns while the combined brew is collected in an included server. Cones accept Hario V60 02-style paper filters and each holds 6 to 12 grams of coffee. Designer Mariam Erin experimented with a 3D-printed prototype in 2022 and finalized production in early 2025. A set including dripper, server and filters is priced at 195 AED.
